A fresh 2005 mix! This song traces Bob and Gordon's 14-year relationship.
Though it began in 1983 as a treatise on the drama of being married,
the final touches were written in 2000 as a retrospective look at the tremendous
loss of Bob to AIDS. We will always miss you Bobby! But clearly, you live on...

The big news here is the inclusion of Anthony, on electronic drums. We always
disliked the drum track from our year 2000 "Preview Mix." Here, Anthony really
breathes life into the song. He is truly the "one-take wonder!"

Our newest song, which started out as a short instrumental piece for Roland Tec's
downtown hit Gratuitous Nudity. Gordon's boyfriend of 5 years, Tim,
actually got this thing going by banging on the tom-toms, though he disavows
any creative input -- silly Tim! The vocal version is soon to be completed.
For now, please enjoy this full instrumental mix.

| One of Bob's songs, about discovering that you are your own
dream... This is our most-rehearsed song ever, recorded live in our studio with
very basic instrumentation: Bob's voice, a simple pattern on the Drumatix and
three pairs of hands, playing the Prophet-5, Memorymoog, hand drum and live
effects. The song could definitely fit in under 3 minutes, but we always
conceived of it in this live "extended remix" format. |

| "Ultramegabelch!" (unsolicited review from South Dakota). A long,
live workout of our studio. Vocal blurps and sufi-like chanting snatched,
treated and spit out digitally. Even the barnyard animals helped out on this
one. Featured with the paintings of Michael Griffin, in the "Art-Rhythmic Show"
in Amsterdam, 6/90. |
